The Slime Time Challenge
This week we are celebrating Better Speech and Hearing Month. A favorite Speech tool to use is slime. Use the directions here to make your own batch of slime. If you have your own recipe, you can use that instead. With your slime, shape letters with it to spell out, “Thank You,” and create a unique design using craft items around the house. Create your own game or show us something new you made from the slime! No rules necessary, just start with slime. 10 tickets will be awarded for the most creative use of slime, and 10 tickets towards the prize drawing for each complete slime project.
Participate in the Eye-Spy Challenge
to download this weekend’s Eye-spy board. Mark off as many squares as you can by working together as a team. Discover ways to find items like going for a van ride, taking a safe walk in a large area, or by finding them virtually. 10 entries are put into the prize drawing for each completed board.
Mighty Minutes Tracker
Use this sheet
to track the minutes of movement. We are focusing on your weekend minutes, but there will be extra credit for doing it every day of the coming week. An individual prize will be given to the person displaying the most improvement.
This week, Chef Alyssa is making rainbow Jell-O! 10 entries will be awarded into the prize drawing for each completed rainbow Jell-O. The ingredients Chef Alyssa uses this week are different colored Jell-O flavors, water, a container for food molds, and whipped cream. See the video for this challenge, along with all of Chef Alyssa’s culinary creations, below!
