He continued his professional training at New York Medical College, where he completed a residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery.  He then completed a fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, and a Master of Health Administration focused on Health Policy from Capella University.

Mr. Keele received his Master of Business Administration from Empire State College and has worked in healthcare at UHS for the past 23 years in various operational roles. Mr. Keele has a daughter with a developmental disability who has been directly supported by Springbrook and has a first-hand understanding of the excellent services the organization provides. Ms. Purcell holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Lesley University. Ms. Purcell is excited to share her commitment to quality and excellence, combined with a collaborative spirit, to better the lives of those at Springbrook and the community.

Dr. Knight shared the sentiments of his colleagues: “Having recognized the important work Springbrook performs for our community and the residents it serves, I am excited to join the board. My familiarity with this community and experience as a healthcare leader will hopefully add a valuable perspective to board discussions.”

Members of the Springbrook board are engaged across disciplines and work toward a common goal: the betterment of the people Springbrook supports. Board members work to enhance high-quality programs and seize opportunities by overseeing projects and initiatives that ensure Springbrook’s long-term success. Tom Maggs, president of the board of directors, said, “I am grateful to have such dedicated community members and leaders on our board who are focused on bettering the lives of others.
