For our next employment highlight, we introduce Kyle. Kyle has worked in the mail room at Preferred Mutual in New Berlin since early 2023, where he folds and stuffs envelopes and uses the stamp machine to send out essential mailings. He knows everyone at the post office and would love to work for the U.S. Postal Service one day. Being polite to everyone is important to Kyle, and it shows. His coworker Renee said, “Kyle is a joy to have here because he brings sunshine.” When Kyle leaves his shift, he checks with his coworkers to ensure they will be okay with him gone, and he always says, “Lights out, goodnight,” as he leaves. His coworker Ashley shares that Kyle “has a bubbly personality and a willingness to learn new things. It is a blessing that Kyle joined the team; he’s a blast.” Kyle is a delight to talk to, and you cannot help but smile around him. He shared: “I am so grateful to work in the mail room at an insurance company; it is my dream job.” Employment Specialist Mary Richardson works with Kyle and loves his determination to learn new things because he does not get frustrated when he makes a mistake; he fixes it. They have worked together to build confidence, and Mary reminds Kyle that he is the expert at his job and knows what to do when encountering an obstacle.
