This #WellnessWednesday we are celebrating one of Springbrook’s own wellness providers, Carol Krueger. Carol, a registered nurse, is the recipient of this year’s NYS ID/DD Nurses Association Joyce Binder Award. “The Joyce Binder Memorial Award is given to an outstanding NYS ID/DD Nurses Association member who has made a significant contribution to advancing the practice of supporting individuals with ID/DD through the demonstrated attributes of caring/compassion, advocacy, mentoring, leadership, dedication, education/research.” Jess Weston, Acting Director of Nursing at Springbrook, said, “I am so very proud of Carol and all of the contributions that she has made not only to Springbrook but to the ID/DD field of nursing.” Carol truly exemplifies all the qualities of a great healthcare provider.
