For this Wellness Wednesday, we would like to share some moments from a recent Springbrook Scorpions Special Olympics soccer tournament held on Springbrook’s very own soccer field! Athletes of all abilities enjoyed the sunny day with their teammates and coaches while competing in a series of soccer games. The Scorpions played two games against the Ithaca Dragons, winning the first game 4 to 1 and losing the second game 4 to 2. The Scorpions ended the day on a high note by taking gold based on a point differential! We are so proud of the Springbrook Scorpions soccer athletes and look forward to their next game, which will be this Saturday, October 15th at the BC United Soccer Complex! Go Scorpions!
