National Physical Therapy Month celebrates its 30th anniversary this October. This month draws awareness to the importance of physical therapy in every facet of a person’s life, including health and wellness, as well as rehabilitation. It also draws attention to the importance of physical therapists as experts in movement.

At Springbrook, our physical therapy team works with adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to engage in healthy activities and movement to maximize mobility, decrease chronic pain, maintain fitness, and more. From Adaptive Physical Education to our Special Olympics program, we provide a range of opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities to get moving and stay strong.
