For this Thinking Thursday we wanted to say thank you to the teachers and therapists who have gone above and beyond to ensure that the people they support not only continue to learn, but also have fun doing so. Alyssa Hall—Speech Pathologist in The School at Springbrook—is just one of many professionals who have committed to making the virtual learning experience fun for the people she works with.
When asked about the way she works, Alyssa said “I love taking a play-based approach with my students and watching how fast they learn new skills. When my students smile, laugh, and/or ask for “more,” I know I am getting through to them.”
The personalized, attentive approach that our therapists and teachers take with the individuals they support is just one of the many reasons why we are so proud of the educators we employ. Keep up the great work everyone!
