Monday, July 4th, the residents and staff from Community Homes across Otsego County showed their Springbrook pride with a decorative float in the Hometown 4th of July parade! This year the float was decorated by the Capstone Day Habilitation program and was driven by members of the Springbrook Facilities team. Downtown was decorated for the festivities and the crowd eagerly awaited the first floats of the parade. There was an exposition of vintage cars, fire twirlers, a martial art display, and dance troupes to wow the crowd. The Springbrook float flashed red, white, and blue, as community homes residents and staff waved flags and gestured hello to the crowd. Thank you to everyone who came out to give their support to those marching in the Hometown 4th of July Parade and the Springbrook residents, staff, and facilities members.
