Today we are recognizing Erin Branigan for her 10-year milestone accomplishment. Erin is an employment specialist for employment services at Springbrook. She started her career at the Tom Golisano Center for Autism at The School at Springbrook, where she began working with a young man with an infectious smile. The two quickly developed a bond built on mutual trust and shared activities such as reading stories, playing card games, and watching Richard Scary videos. Eventually, when Erin moved on to a new position as a care coordination manager, she began working with this young man to find a community home for him to transition into after graduating from The School at Springbrook. Erin enjoyed witnessing her career trajectory alongside this young man’s time as a student.
Erin advises new employees to “Always look at the positives and take each day one at a time. At the end of each week, find a moment where you made someone smile or gave someone the opportunity to do something they never thought possible. Trust in yourself!” Thank you, Erin, for all you have done at Springbrook!
