Whether in basketball, soccer, or track & field, Springbrook Scorpion athletes learn new skills, build self-esteem, and improve their physical conditioning, while enjoying fellowship with their teammates and other athletes.
Traveling to compete with rival teams from across the state adds to their sense of independence and personal growth. And participation is free to all athletes!
Your donation of any amount to the Springbrook Foundation helps maintain and create great opportunities for the people we support to participate in programs like the Scorpion Special Olympic teams. For example,
- New basketball/soccer ball: $20
- Uniform jersey and shorts: $50
- Overnight stay for 2 athletes to attend a tournament – $100
- New soccer nets: $350
- Each athlete’s feeling of accomplishment and pride in knowing they have played their very best: Priceless!
