We are kicking off National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) with a quote from Bridget Lamp, MPA, the assistant director of Community Services and Employment Services at Springbrook. Bridget shares the importance of NDEAM and what it means for Springbrook and the people we support.

“National Disability Employment Awareness Month, or NDEAM, occurs every October to celebrate the important relationship between workers with disabilities and inclusive business practices. Springbrook is lucky enough to have worked with over 150 businesses in the past 10 years to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their full potential through integrated community employment. We are truly grateful for all of the business partnerships we have developed and fostered in Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Madison, and Otsego counties over that time, and we look forward to further expanding our business partnerships into Cortland, Tompkins, Tioga, and Onondaga counties.”

We will be celebrating NDEAM throughout the month of October with stories of success through Employment Services at Springbrook!
