On this Valentine’s Day, we celebrate a love story at Springbrook. Springbrook residents Brian and Mary have been together for 34 years and enjoy every moment they spend together. Some of their favorite activities include going out for a meal at Denny’s, playing dominoes, coloring, dancing, and going to bingo at Day Hab. They share many happy memories, like roller skating at this year’s Halloween party at Interskate 88. Last year, they won the best couple costume when they went as Popeye and Olive Oyl. For Valentine’s Day this year, Brian gave Mary her favorite candy, a card, a rose, a collection of drawings he made for her while she was out sick, and a stuffed otter from his recent visit to the aquarium. Mary joyfully showed off the presents Brian gave her, sharing, “I was so surprised!” Congratulations on 34 years together, Brian and Mary, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
