As we shared earlier this week, The Schramm Band performed an exclusive concert for Springbrook residents and staff this past Monday. We are so grateful to John Anderson, President of the Springbrook Foundation Board and lead guitarist for the band, for offering this fantastic opportunity to the people of Springbrook. John and his bandmates, Kurt Schramm and Mark Amman, have been playing together for nearly 15 years. The idea of performing for Springbrook came to John following a recent concert and conversation in his hometown. John shares, “Kurt was visiting this past spring and we performed a pop-up lawn concert for the neighborhood. My neighbor, whose daughter uses a wheelchair, told me how special it was to share the experience with her daughter. They often went to concerts, but now could not due to the pandemic.” It is moments and relationships like these that make Springbrook such a special place.
