Over the weekend, the Special Olympics Soccer State Games took place, showcasing remarkable talents and achievements. In their respected skills division, Taylor Carden earned a silver medal, Daniel Ceroaletti earned a gold medal, and Clare Deignan proudly took home a bronze medal. In another skills division, Ryan Glenn secured the gold medal, and Ryan MacMahon and Kacper Skownski both received a bronze medal.

In Division 1, the Springbrook Scorpions displayed exceptional skills, defeating the Onondaga Strikers 3-0 in the initial round, then the Scorpions went on to play the FC City Hawks. Despite their incredible efforts, the Scorpions lost 2-1 in the second overtime period. The competition showcased the strength, determination, and sportsmanship of all the athletes who attended.
