Nurses Week is celebrated nationwide from May 6th to May 12th in honor of the birthdate of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. During this week, we recognize the hard work and dedication of nurses in the Springbrook community and beyond. Nurses work hard to ensure the health of their patients and deserve to feel the same care and appreciation every day, but especially this week! There are many ways to show gratitude for nurses, like sharing a way they have helped you or a loved one the next time you see them or giving them a homemade piece of art! If you have a friend or family member who is a nurse, you could ask them if they would enjoy a fresh-cooked meal after one of their shifts or bring them a coffee when they have a break!

If you would like to share your appreciation for a nurse in the Springbrook community, we have created a form to collect messages of gratitude and anecdotes about nurses at Springbrook! The form is below, and responses will be displayed later in the week.
