National Administrative Professionals Day recognizes the professionals who work to keep an office, business, or organization running smoothly. This includes secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and more!
To celebrate this year, we asked administrative professionals throughout the Springbrook community to share their favorite parts of the job. MaryAnn Sciame has been working at Springbrook for 26 years, and she is currently the administrative assistant for the Residential School Program at The School at Springbrook. MaryAnn works in the main office of the school, which gives her “a front-row seat to the students’ smiles as they begin their school day and to their contagious enthusiasm when they share something they have accomplished.” MaryAnn loves working in a fast-paced environment because “working in a busy office makes the day go by quickly.” Her ability to excel at her job in a lively environment has affectionately earned her the title of “Chaos Coordinator.” MaryAnn cannot imagine working anywhere else, and we are so glad to have such talented administrative professionals like her at Springbrook!
