Springbrook celebrated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across the Oneonta, Sidney, Binghamton, and Norwich regions. DSPs were treated to delicious ice cream and coffee from The Scoop in Whitney Point, NY, and each received a gift card as a token of appreciation. This year, for Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week, messages of gratitude and stories highlighting the impact of DSPs at Springbrook were also shared.

At the heart of everything is the dedication and compassion of DSPs. They bring joy, care, and meaningful support to the people they work with, building trust, fostering relationships, and creating positive environments.

Being a DSP is more than a job—it is a commitment to uplifting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. DSPs are the heart of the Springbrook community, offering steady encouragement and care.

In recognition of their invaluable contributions, people across the organization shared heartfelt messages of gratitude, which you can read below.
