The Springbrook Scorpions will hold basketball tryouts on Tuesday, February 11th, and Thursday, February 13th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. You only need to attend one of the tryout dates. Athletes must have current and up-to-date medical and release forms. Special Olympics no longer requires a doctor’s signature on the forms. The required new forms are linked to the button below.

Please note: On page 2 of the medical form, there must be a signature from the athlete (if they are able to sign for themselves), a parent/guardian, or a medical professional.

Basketball practices will start the week of February 24th, along with Track and Field. Athletes are encouraged to participate in both.

Reminders:

Practices and tryouts will take place at the main campus gym off Route 28. After turning onto Route 44 from Route 28, go to the second entrance and turn left into the first parking lot. Walk down the road with cones at the end. Once you reach the stairs, walk up to the double black doors. Please leave wet, salty shoes on the rugs and change into basketball sneakers or clean, dry shoes.

Save the date for the 10th Annual Springbrook Invitational Special Olympics Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 29th! More information to come.
