Springbrook celebrated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across the Oneonta, Sidney, Binghamton, and Norwich regions. DSPs were treated to delicious ice cream and coffee from The Scoop in Whitney Point, NY, and as a token of appreciation, each DSP received a gift card. This year, for Direct Support Professional (DSP) Appreciation Week, we shared messages of gratitude and anecdotes about DSPs at Springbrook.
At the heart of everything is the dedication and passion of the Direct Support Professionals (DSP). They bring joy, care, and support to the people they work with every single day. This commitment to uplifting others is what makes DSPs so valuable. Their influence reaches far beyond daily tasks—it’s about building trust, fostering relationships, and creating positive environments.
Being a DSP is more than a job—it’s a profound commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs are the heart of the Springbrook community, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and care every single day. Thank you, Direct Support Professionals, for your exceptional work and for continuing to make a difference every day.
In recognition of the DSPs unwavering dedication, people across the organization shared heartfelt messages of gratitude.
