Secure Your Loved One’s Future
“The Springbrook Pooled Trust has been helpful because it provided a way for Tom to save money. He was able to use that money for various things, such as plane tickets, bicycles, YMCA membership, and college tuition.”

The Springbrook Pooled Trust offers a simple and effective way to protect the financial future and quality of life of people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD). This type of trust allows people who receive an inheritance, legal settlement, or other significant funds to safely preserve their assets—while maintaining full eligibility for government benefits such as SSI and Medicaid.
Anyone with an intellectual or developmental disability can open an account in the pooled trust, regardless of whether they receive services from Springbrook. Opening an account is straightforward and affordable.
The primary goal of the trust is to enhance the quality of life for each participant. Funds in the account can be used for a wide range of personal expenses—covering both needs and wants such as travel, education, recreation, and more.
What makes the Springbrook Pooled Trust unique is that any remaining balance in the person’s account at the time of their passing will be used to support other people with I/DD through Springbrook’s programs and services.
