This week we are looking forward to next Tuesday, May 25, which is the 33rd Annual Developmental Disabilities Day! A full-day conference takes place featuring Western New York professionals and businesses specializing in services for people with developmental disabilities. This year the event is virtual and free. In lieu of a keynote speaker, an advocacy panel is planned that includes self-advocate and SANYS President BJ Stasio, parent advocate Barb Delong, provider advocate Rhonda Fredrick, CEO of People Inc., Roger Bearden of OPWDD, and Senator Mannion.
