This Wellness Wednesday, we want to acknowledge that wellness is more than physical exercise and activities. While exercise is important, your mind, soul, and surroundings play a tremendous role in your overall health. When unforeseen circumstance makes us feel insecure, it is common to feel stressed and uncomfortable. While we can’t always control the situation, there are stress reduction activities that promote wellness and can help you to feel more at ease. Are you or someone you know feeling the stress of these past months, weeks, and days? Try one, or a few, of these activities that encompass all aspects of positive well-being and see how they make you feel.

  • Read a book
  • Practice meditation
  • Exercise
  • Tell someone how much they mean to you
  • Join virtual gatherings
  • Create your own comfortable, safe space where you can relax
