Did you know that January is National Blood Donor Month? This observance began in 1970 out of necessity because winter is a difficult time to collect sufficient amounts of blood for medical and patient needs. Due to busy holiday schedules, increased seasonal illnesses, and inclement weather, most people forego giving blood in the winter. Donating blood can not only improve the health of someone else, but it can also save a life!

Springbrook will be hosting a blood drive on January 20th at the Family Engagement Center on Main Campus from 12-5 pm. We encourage anyone to attend the drive, conducted through the Red Cross. If you would like to make an appointment, click the button below. We hope to see you on January 20th!
