It’s Wellness Wednesday! This week Physical Therapist Assistant Mary Dolan gives us a tip for everyone to stay moving. “Marching in place can be done around a table, hallway, or in place. It is an excellent activity to keep your body moving. When the weather is not ideal for outdoor exercise activities, it’s a fantastic idea to occasionally stand up and march in place for around 1 minute. This exercise is good for cardiopulmonary conditioning, stretching the muscles in the upper and lower body, and strengthening.” So stand up if you’re able, and march in place this April!
