Here is this week’s Situation Saturday report. This week we made several organization-wide updates to our protocols. These updates included creating Springbrook “Home Units.” Home Units limit the number of staff members who come into contact with residents. Each Home Unit is made up of 10-20 employees (depending on the home) who ONLY work in that home. Within a Home Unit, staff are wearing masks at all times, are careful to limit close contact with residents and each other (as much as possible), and continue to make cleaning and disinfecting a priority. This week, we also continued to stress the importance of social distancing to employees, particularly when they are not at work.
