During these cold winter months, Springbrook staff create many ways for residents to connect with one another safely and have fun! Activity Night, organized and brought to life by part-time Family Support Coordinator, Frances Kranes, is one example. Frances comes to the Family Engagement Campus to host a wide range of activities for our campus residents. Activities are always chosen by the students and range from cookie decorating, to Bingo night, and craft projects. According to regular attendee, Ronda:
“My favorite things about activity night are seeing Frances and hanging out with my friends. It gets us out of the house and we also make new friends. I like to go early and help Frances set up.”
Other activities that Ronda and her friends would like to participate in are movie nights, and would especially like to see the new “West Side Story”, and game nights. These activities are funded entirely through donations from our generous friends and families.
