Donor Dollars at Work would like to shine the spotlight on the generous donors who make events possible – like our first annual Springbrook Trunk or Treat that took place this past Friday, October 29th. Trunk-or-treating is an alternative to the traditional act of trick-or-treating, which replaces going door to door of homes, with going from one decorated trunk to the next. The Halloween spirit was alive at this event, where participants showed off their costumes and received treats at their own pace, in familiar environments. For some, this was their first time trick-or-treating!

We can keep the spirit of every holiday alive and share first-time opportunities with many, thanks to the generous support of donors like Dr. Jerry Pondolfino, Mr. William Phillips, The Fly Creek Cider Mill, Price Choppers of Cooperstown and Oneonta, and the Stewart’s Shop of Oneonta. These donors created themed trunks, dressed up in costume, and handed out candy to residents and students on Friday, making it a very happy Halloween for so many who choose Springbrook! We can’t thank you enough for gifting your time, effort, and support for Springbrook!
