Congratulations to Springbrook Scholar Jessi Leveille on her upcoming graduation from SUNY Delhi’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program! Jessi is a registered nurse who has been part of Springbrook’s Community Homes team since 2017. Over the last two years, she has completed the SUNY Delhi program to earn her advanced BSN degree, all while continuing to work full time.

Through Springbrook Scholars, Springbrook employees can explore higher education opportunities with the aid of Springbrook-paid scholarships or tuition reimbursement. For Jessi, the RN to BSN program has allowed her to achieve a goal she has had since high school. “Having exhausted all of my scholarships at the undergraduate level before earning my BSN, my options for funding were limited,” shares Jessi. “The Spadaccia family and Springbrook have allowed for my dream to become a reality, and I am so grateful. I have accomplished things I never thought possible, and I have gained a broad knowledge of health care that I can now utilize in my position at Springbrook.”

Bob Spadaccia is a ’70 graduate of Hartwick College. He has remained committed to Otsego County through his past service to Hartwick College and current generosity to Springbrook. His connection to Springbrook started in college when he was a brother of Alpha Sig. His fraternity completed several service projects at what was then The Upstate Home for Children. He reconnected with the organization when Seth Haight, Hartwick class of ’96, became Chief Operating Officer.

As Jessi notes, it is thanks to the philanthropy of donors like the Spadaccias—who have given generously to the Springbrook Scholars program—that these scholarship opportunities are possible! It is amazing to see donor dollars making such a difference in the lives of Springbrook Scholars and the lives of those who our Scholars support.

Whether employees want to start their education journey or are ready to earn their next degree, the Springbrook Scholars Program has a track that is right for anyone! The Springbrook Scholars program consists of two tracks; Springbrook Scholarships (Tuition-free Programs) and Springbrook Tuition Reimbursement. Each track offers its own unique advantages and gives Springbrook employees the opportunity to tailor their educational experience to their personal circumstances. The best part? Springbrook will pay the bill!
