Recently, wish list items were fulfilled for the Springbrook therapy team thanks to a grant from a local foundation. Some of the items included weighted blankets and body socks, both of which help children with autism gain a sense of calm. These items, modeled by Max who is wearing the weighted blanket, and Omarion who is wearing the body sock, help kids like them with sensory regulation. With the grant, the therapy team now has different weighted blankets and sizes of body socks available, ensuring that every child can find the right weight and fit for their needs.

Grants and donations from people in the community support our therapy team and help the children and teens that they work with on a daily basis. It is items like these that help everyone do and be their best! We will be sharing more of the unique therapy items that were purchased, so be sure to check back regularly.
