OPWDD Commissioner Kerri Neifeld to Visit Springbrook’s Newest Binghamton Home, Media Invited

Kerri Neifeld, who serves as the Commissioner of the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), will visit Springbrook’s newest Community Home in Binghamton on Thursday, April 21 for a housewarming event open to the media.

At 1:00 p.m. Neifeld will attend the Blackstone Community Home Housewarming reception to celebrate with residents, their families, and Springbrook staff. Springbrook provides at-home care, residential and educational services, day services, and clinical, therapeutic, and behavioral supports to over 1,100 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from across New York State. With headquarters in Oneonta, NY, the organization has offices throughout the Southern Tier and employs more than 1,200 people. In the Greater Binghamton area, Springbrook offers Self-Directed Services from their Downtown Binghamton Court Street office, operates two supported residential homes, and offers supported living at Century Sunrise apartments in Johnson City.
