Opening ceremonies will take place at 9:00am, followed by games from 9:30-11:30am, individual skills competition at 11:30am, additional games from 12-3pm, and a three-point shoot out to close the day's festivities. In addition to the excitement of tournament play, attendees can look forward to concessions and an Olympic Village with arts, crafts, and activities for kids of all ages.

The Scorpions basketball team has been highly successful in Special Olympics tournaments this year. At their most recent tournament in New York City on April 26, 2014, the Varsity team took the silver medal. The Springbrook Invitational Tournament on May 10, 2014 will be the Junior Varsity team’s last tournament of the season, while the Springbrook Scorpions Varsity team will play its last tournament at the University of Buffalo on the weekend of June 6-8, 2014.
