Currently, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), in conjunction with positive behavior support, is recognized as the most preferred method of treatment for individuals with autism. ABA is an approach that allows our experts to gather objective data, which can then be used to create a highly-individualized plan that can help with a variety of goals, including communication, behavior, and socialization.
With the implementation of ABA, the staff at the School at Springbrook can determine if a student is making progress or not. If a student does not respond to one teaching method, there is always something else that can be done to help him or her along so that the best possible outcome is achieved.
