Kids Unlimited Preschool
For children with disabilities, early intervention and interaction with peers of all skill levels are invaluable in creating the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Kids Unlimited Preschool is regulated by the New York State Education Department (SED) and prepares young children between the ages of three and five for a lifetime of learning. Our integrated preschool program provides educational services to children with and without developmental disabilities. Our language based classrooms are structured in a way that promotes skill development throughout the school day. There is a balance of child directed and teacher direct time. We maximize opportunities for each child to socialize with peers. We encourage child-directed, “hands on” learning in the context of developmental appropriate activities and routines.
Parental involvement is encouraged and supported toward making the difference in all of our programs for young children.
Springbrook also provides evaluations for children from birth to age five and offers early intervention therapy services. Children between the ages of birth and two access evaluation services through the New York State Department of Health Early Intervention (EI) Program. Children between the ages of three and five access our evaluation services through their school district’s Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE). Eligible children receive educational and therapy services under the auspices of EI and CPSE respectively.
