Community Homes at Springbrook

The ultimate goal for many individuals with a disability is to achieve independence and live on their own. Our Community Homes make that dream a reality for many.

Springbrook’s Community Homes are like your homes, with the same kind of activities and responsibilities. The individuals who live in a community home may come from residing in another agency, at home, family care or graduate from school and be ready to move on to a community setting.

Our family members get ready for work and school, help with chores, watch TV, share meals together and participate in a wide variety of community activities. Many volunteer with local human service organizations and attend worships services of their choice. Staff provide a setting rich with support and choices for individuals.

All of Springbrook's 19 homes are regulated by the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD) in the region are designed to support an individual with developmental disabilities in their community with access to recreational and work opportunities. We’re making the difference by assisting each person in the pursuit of activities to enrich their lives and choices.
